Hello from the freezing tundra!
Hope everyone is enjoying their week, and starting to have exciting plans for the weekend. I’m getting my hair cut and coloured this weekend, and I am getting very excited. I’ve tried a few different styles over the years;
From short, red hair (when 19):
To black hair:
With blonde hair (that I sadly can’t find any pictures of), as well as a few other colours and lengths in between. I haven’t quite decided what I’m going to do this time, but I’ll likely be avoiding bangs (especially after looking at these pictures).
Switching over to meals, with Mark gone, I’ve been making more vegetarian meals for myself, well I was when I was still in town. The main reason I eat chicken is to make it easier for Mark and I to make meals together.
Lately, I’ve been making:
- Falafal pita with green beans. I bought a box, that means I only had to add water and let it sit for 10 minutes. I added tzatiki, tomatoes and put it all in a pita. Delicious and ready for 15 minutes.
- Several meals from “Eat, Drink and Be Vegan” by Dreena Burton. I bought the cookbook about 4 years ago, back when several blogs were big into it, and everything I have ever made from it it delicious.
- Lots of hummus and crackers
- Fresh made juice
- Oatmeal with bananas, peanut butter and maple syrup (for breakfast)
- Smoothies
Anyone else trying to eat different foods? Link me some recipes- I love to try new things!
