Happy Tuesday everyone!
I thought I’d write a post to try and motivate myself while out of town for this week and next. For this week and next, I am in a teeny, tiny town about 3 hours further north then where I live. I’ve gone out for the past two years and there is very little to do, except a lot of work. It can be very stressful, and with the long days, there’s not a lot of time for de-stressing.
In my attempts to keep myself calm and happy while working, I’ve been thinking a lot about how to keep myself calm and de-stressed while traveling.
I’ve decided this year, not only will I pack my yoga mat, but I am committing to do a minimum of 20 minutes of yoga a day. I’d commit more- but I know that with the hours of work, I will not do any more.
I’ve blogged before about online sources to do yoga if you can’t make a class. The link for that post is here. I’ll be utilizing those sources while I’m out of town.
To find time, I am committing to 20 minutes between work and dinner to stretch my muscles and feel better. If there’s more time after dinner, then I’m going to try and do a little more.
Does anyone else have tips to find time when super busy? I’d love to hear them!

gorgeous pic of you!! I like the 20 mins a day of yoga – exercise is definitely a good destresser and I feel like the meditation in yoga is probably the best! I guess my only other tips would be take the stairs as much as possible
hope you semi-enjoy traveling!
I love the stair suggestion! I’m staying in a hotel and I’ll typically try and do the stairs but I’m definitely going to try and commit to doing them everytime. No elevator for me
